Issue #1: New in Town
Being new somewhere is a big deal and requires a lot of support. Our first issue “New in town” accompanies Grace, who not only moves to a new city, but also starts secondary school- a big deal for most young people. In each edition your child will find valuable activities that foster emotional literacy; deepen their knowledge about growing up; strengthen their connection to nature and support their wellbeing & mental health all whilst being creative & having fun. We want to give young people the language for what they’re noticing and reassurance that what they’re experiencing is normal. And help families start the conversations every child deserves to have, earlier, and more easily.

Frequently asked questions
What age is the activity pack for?
We have created the pack for pre-teens and teens. It is suitable from age 7+ and was tested by young people aged 7–13 and their carers. These are the years when young people often begin noticing changes in their bodies, friendships and emotions. However every child is different. The pack is designed to introduce topics gently, through story, fun and some educational elements. Your child engages with what resonates and revisits content as they grow. Nothing is graphic or clinical. Everything is warm, age-appropriate, and hopeful.
Is this something children engage with on their own or with a carer?
Both. Some young people enjoy engaging with the activity pack independently and returning to sections when questions appear later. Others prefer to explore it alongside a carer, parent or trusted adult. The activity pack is designed to support either experience.
What topics will the activity pack include?
Each issue of Confidence Club explores a key topic relevant to growing up. For example: friendships and boundaries, emotions and confidence, understanding what’s normal, puberty and body changes and questions young people often don’t know how to ask out loud. In each edition your child will find valuable activities that foster emotional literacy; deepen their knowledge about growing up; strengthen their connection to nature and support their wellbeing & mental health. All content is age-appropriate and designed to feel reassuring rather than overwhelming.
Does the activity pack replace conversations at home?
No, it supports them. Many carers tell us they want help knowing how and when to begin conversations about puberty, friendships and emotional wellbeing. This activity pack gives a calm starting point and shared language to make those conversations feel easier. The best conversations happen when you both have the same words.
My child's school covers puberty education and RSE - isn't that enough?
School covers the facts. This covers the feelings and helps to process them. Confidence Club provides language, story, and private processing space at home for a child to work through what those facts mean for them. This is a complement, not a replacement. And through our "parent" guide you can be part of your young person's journey, if you wish.
Is this a subscription or a one-off purchase?
Both. You can choose to get just one issue of Confidence Club or choose your subscription option. You can also order older issues that feel relevant to your child's development stage.
Why not just Google it?
You can! But the feedback we’ve had from carers raising young people was that Googling puberty felt scattered and like a minefield, not child friendly or too clinical. Confidence Club is developed by Youth Relationships Educators with diverse experiences, who work with young people on a day-to-day basis. We’ve designed and tested it to be calm, age-appropriate, story-led and most importantly, FUN!
What awaits in issue #2?
Issue #2: Wonky Bits, will be released in February 2027 with the themes of body image and self expression. Your child will discover: how to be uniquely themselves, what their body does for them, learn about the concepts of body neutrality, normalise body & mind changes during puberty, tools for conflict resolution in friendships, discover self - expression and ways to feel comfort & joy. This issue comes packed with fun activities, our art box, a 40-minute adventure story with our characters Moss, Oxi, Dog and Grace and many extras to explore.
